• Delete a renamed svn folder on Eclipse

Under Eclipse with SVN project after folder (package) is renamed via Refactor->Rename it appears like a new package with old contents AND old package marked as “Deleted”.
But sometimes this old plugin cant be deleted by commiting changes to svn. It just yells about folders being out of synchronization or other silly stuff which annoys me. And nothing helps – not cleanup, update, not reverting, not refreshing. nothing. The old package (folder) stays there.
I found a dirty way to tell Eclipse and SVN that i dont give a hack on their objections and WANT this folder to be deleted.
Just close delete the whole folder physically in file level. Then make “update to HEAD”. It will recreate the old package as it was. And NOW you can just erase it and forget about it after commiting changes.
I got exhausted by this too many times now and i am trying to avoid refactor_>rename. Just create new folder and drag’n'drop files i need to keep and delete old package as such. But to tell you the truth – even that is not always working in Eclipse with Subversion plugin.
Ok, anyway, keep it real. I am glad that i am not the only one having problems like these.
